I work nearby and noticed they had dim sum now, so I decided to give it a try. Honestly, it’s hard to find authentic dim sum in Midtown, but this place nails it. The shrimp dumplings were fresh and delicate, the BBQ pork buns were fluffy and packed with flavor, and the siu mai were spot on. Everything came out hot, the staff was friendly, and the vibe is relaxed — perfect for a quick lunch or a weekend bite. I’m so glad I found this spot, it’s my new go-to when I’m craving real dim sum without leaving Midtown!
I've always wanted to try this joint from passing by so many times. Finally had the chance to. They were open since 10am I believe. Picked up an early lunch after doing a work errand. I was a little overstimulated from outside factors so I couldn't thoroughly read the menu. I got fried rice my way and sesame chicken. I don't usually get sesame chicken. First of all I love how they have the sauces grab and go readily available on the counter. That's like 1000 stars from Someone like me right there. Big seating area. I'm sure they get very busy through out the day. Didn't get a drink, food cost $15. I wanna bring bae here. Food was delicious and tasted clean.
Hop Won has always been a go-to spot for me, and now they’ve added dim sum to the menu—it’s fantastic. The dumplings and buns taste fresh and authentic, and the prices are still super reasonable for Midtown. Fast, tasty, and now with dim sum—what’s not to love?
Little hidden Chinese place near Grand Central Station in Manhattan, great food very authentic. Can't wait to try their Cantonese style soup. The soup was excellent.
